In an effort to expand the community of Between the Worlds, make our event available to a wider audience and assist those in need the BTW Scholarship Program was created.
In honor of CrystalBear, a brother of the BTW community who passed beyond the veil in 2004, we have named the BTW scholarship the Ganesha Scholarship Fund, after the elephant-headed Hindu god who is the remover of obstacles. There are a limited number of scholarships available to cover half of the entry fee at the time of registration. Ganesha Scholarships are designed to help attendees who might not have the opportunity to come to the gathering due to financial hardship.
Ganesha Scholarships are awarded based on an evaluation of all applications received before registration closes. Selection is made on a combination of factors including financial need, diversity, scholastic intent, and willingness to contribute meaningfully to the community.
The Scholarship covers 50% of your Registration Costs, not including add-ons such as Bunks or Tshirts.
