Between the Worlds Community!
Due to concerns regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the decision to cancel Between the Worlds for 2020.
Over the past few weeks, we have had many difficult discussions with Wisteria and within GFG and the BTW coordinators to examine the health and safety procedures that Wisteria would be implementing, the procedures we would need to put in place within the gathering, and changes we would need to make to the gathering in order to maintain social distancing and safety protocols. In the end, when we balanced the benefits and losses against the health risks to our community, especially the most vulnerable members of our community, we felt this was the wisest choice.
We will be issuing full refunds to everyone currently registered for BTW 2020. The registration site has been disabled. Please expect those refunds sometime in the next two weeks. Please check both your PayPal account and your banking account for the refund; it may come back to you in either way.
As a thank you to those of you who are already registered for BTW 2020, we will provide a discount to the registration for BTW 2021. Please look for details coming out later this year.
Announcing Virtual Between the Worlds 2020 9/21/20 – 9/25/20
Though we cannot gather in person, we will gather online to tend the hearth flame of our community and keep our connections strong. We will be hosting a virtual online gathering during the same time frame of the original event. The virtual gathering will be free of charge.
Since we have never done this before, please bear with us as we gather our forces and refocus our intentions.
