About the Green Faerie Grove
Between the Worlds is a spiritual and educational outreach program of the Green Faerie Grove of Columbus, Ohio -- a queer pagan brotherhood. All proceeds from Between the Worlds benefit the mission of the Green Faerie Grove.
The Green Faerie Grove (GFG) of Columbus, Ohio is a pagan brotherhood for gay and bi men. Our mission is to provide a safe place for gay, bi and transgender men to worship creation in all its awesome, diverse splendor in community and brotherhood. Green Faerie Grove was founded on Yule 1998 to provide a safe space for queer pagan men to grow and prosper. We follow an eclectic Wiccan path emphasizing Queer Spirit with strong influences from Greco-Roman mythos, Druidry, Celtic Shamanism, men's mysteries, Radical Faerie, and Thelema. Our purpose is to:
- Explore and practice pagan beliefs and traditions;
- Support and respect one another within the Grove in our healing, growth and aspirations;
- Hold pagan rituals on the sabbats and on other special occasions in order to celebrate the seasons, work magick, recognize rites of passage, and honor the gods;
- Honor the Earth and Her creatures as sacred and work to protect and heal the environment within our community, throughout our nation, and across the world;
- Produce ritual, literature, music and art to foster Pagan spirituality within the gay community at large;
- Teach Pagan beliefs and traditional skills to members, and to communicate with sisters and brothers within kindred spiritual paths; and
- Where appropriate, to educate the general public about the role of gay, bi, and transgender men in Pagan spirituality.
